How RegalBit started, and what we do now
RegalBit Solutions was founded in 2017 and is registered in Chandigarh. The early work was straightforward web development: websites, e-commerce stores and small applications, much of it for clients in the United States and the United Kingdom who found us and stayed.
What changed the business was noticing that the most valuable thing we did for those clients was rarely the website. It was the connecting work: the script that stopped somebody retyping orders, the integration that made two systems agree, the automation that got a lead answered in a minute instead of the next morning. That work saved measurable hours, and clients came back for more of it.
So that is what we lead with now. Automation and integration engineering, supported by the software engineering that makes it real: React, Next.js, Angular and Vue on the front, Laravel and Node.js behind, PostgreSQL and MySQL underneath, mobile applications where the work happens on a phone, and GIS where the data has a location attached.
Between the two founders there are more than twenty years of engineering experience, including geospatial data work for government and enterprise clients before RegalBit existed. Some of the systems we built in our first two years are still in production and still supported by us. That is the metric we would encourage you to ask any firm about.
How we work
Seven commitments we hold to on every project
The commonest complaint about software firms is not price. It is not knowing what is happening, and not owning what was built. Both are solvable.
- A written scope and an agreed quote before any work begins. No open ended billing on a fixed scope project.
- A staging URL you can open at any moment to see the current state. Progress is visible, not reported.
- The person who scopes your project is the person who builds it. There is no handover to a junior after signing.
- A dedicated designer and a dedicated tester, so design and quality assurance are not the developer's side job.
- You own the source code, the repositories, the hosting accounts and the credentials, from day one.
- Thirty days of support included after every launch, and no lock in contract afterwards.
- We will tell you when we are not the right fit, or when a cheaper approach would serve you better.
